              for Windows 95

This file will add support for IBM G-series and 709x monitors
to a fresh installation of Windows 95 retail or OSR2.
Support for these monitors is already a part of Windows 98 and later.

TO INSTALL THE INF FILE:

1. Click Start, then Settings, then Control Panel.
2. Double click the "Display" applet program.
3. Select the "Settings" page, push the "Change Display Type" button.
4. Push the "Change" button in the "Monitor Type" area.
5. Push the "Have Disk" button and press "OK".
6. Specify the path to the INF file and press the ENTER key:

• Example 1: Insert the disk in the A: floppy drive, and enter A:\.
• Example 2: Type in the name of the directory where you copied the INF file, either on your local hard drive or on a network share.
• Example 3: If you're not sure exactly where the INF file is, choose the "Browse..." button to find it.

7. The "Select Device" dialog box will appear. Select the monitor that corresponds to the one you connected to your machine and click OK.
8. Windows 95 will copy the INF file to the proper directories on your system.
9. Continue choosing Close until you close the Display Properties dialog box.
